Plus updates including ‘sFUN which links the Merlin realtime global datapool to the popular Matlab Simulink © mathematical simulation toolkit.

This order brings the Aviation Academy’s total of Merlin simulators to five.

Lecturer Raymond Teunissen said ‘The Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences Aviation Academy, having won the IT FLIES ‘Harrier Trophy’ two times in a row now, wishes to remain a front-runner in the field of flight simulation education for undergraduate students.

The Academy's flight simulation lab hosts a suite of MP500-1's and one MP500-2. Our students love to work with them, and they do so quite successfully. With the installation of the new Merlin Excalibur software and the Merlin sFUN’ interface to Matlab/Simulink computer we, as teachers, are certain that we have the tools to improve on our educational goals.”
